B(-elated) Bahareh-day post

Jelsen planned a special little excursion for me on my bday, so I put a cupcake on my head and together with Rodney and Lisa we followed Jelsen's tracks all the way to Long Island.

Final destination proved to be the Belmont horse tracks, where we spent an entire day
eating
draaaanking
betting.

Birthday girl then went ahead and won 8 out of 10 races. That's just how I roll....
(If only I had bet more than 2 bucks at a time.)

Here's to a new year, my buddies across the world (wide web). Start stretching for my 30th extravaganza next year.

Lisa vs Diddy

The oh so wonderful Lisa decided to bring a few of her friends to NY to celebrate the big 3-0. The night started at our favorite neighborhood spot, Abistro, for a yummy yummy dinner and after that we took the party over to the annual Prince vs Michael Jackson dance party at BLVD.

Can't wait to see what you do for your 40th, Lisa! Fly us all out to Phi Phi, perhaps perhaps?

(Jels kept it classy with his pinky))

Combined, They're A True 60.

Steph & Nicole both turned 30 last week. They headed out to Arizona to celebrate with Steph's fam. When they got back Doug threw them this 'lil party'.

A night in the 20s

Saturday was our buddy, Margie's, bday and she invited us to come celebrate in true 20s style. Jelsen stayed home and worked while I dug through my closet to find something that would pass the dress code and ventured to Williamsburg. It was a fun night filled with old friends and great conversations (shout out to Lee!) and one very happy and excited birthday girl.
