Sloppy dancing

Danced Friday night away to the beat of The Presets at Webster Hall. The most fun I've had in a long long time. Afterwords we slipped in a secret door and ended up at another dance party. Lots of sloppy moves and gin and tonic's later, I took on the task of balancing down a winding staircase. Looking at the picture now, I'm wondering... maybe it was me who was the winding one?

Elektrocardio, anyone?

I met Rucyl Mills through Lichiban a couple months back. I checked out some of her work and immediately applauded. Dope!

The more i investigated - the more she did: she's an interactive designer and artist, an inventor [check out the Elektro-07], a ridiculous producer, and THEN i was introduced to that voice...

Last night she performed at Alphabeta. Dope Dope Dope.Great times, indeed.
So much to look forward to.

Pretty People Make Pretty Music

...and babies. duh!

Earlier this week i got to see Sarah White and Mr Don Cuco perform at Southpaw. I can go on and on about how their performance gave me goosenipples but instead i'll let you try 'em out for yourself.
Here's a clip from that night's set. The song's "Wanna Be Wit You [ Kiva Remix ]" accompanied by Daru on drums and Kiva on keys:


The duo also graced 'The Best Day of Our Lives" with their love. On our wedding day they flipped Stevie Wonder during our procession...acoustic guitar + her voice?! C'mon.

I kept bobbing my head until i realized i needed to focus on not fucking up 'I....Do.'

Friday Night Hop

Friday night i headed to Younity's Heart & Soul art opening at AlphaBeta. There were tons of work on display including a pair from two of my holmettes: Stephanie Land & Lichiban.
Steph took some great pics: H E R E...INTERMISSION...
then a couple of us headed over to Crash Mansion for RAYE 6's bday gig. Lichiban put me onto this crew so it was a pleasant surprise to bump into gooder times.

Diesel's XX + X Party

After my drink-all-day saturday and Bahareh's work all day we met up and headed to Diesel's XXX party.

Confetti was on full force. Famous people too.
Bumped into a bunch of folks. Here's Fly Lady Di. And we stole some of her sweet stuff......and here's Marty Markowitz, Brooklyn Borough President. I dont think ive ever seen a pic of this dude not smiling. Simon was so sincere about teaching Greg and i how to do the 'To The Wiiiiirl!' move. I was [trying] to tell him the move's more like 'To The Moooooon, Sucka!'. He won.

Jess exhibited how a lady double-fists: both pinkies erect.These guys. These guys. ha.
Bahareh was convinced they were on ecstacy. When they were well into a 7min lip-lock the guy on the right turned around and leaned in to kiss me....and then tried his charm on B.

He was having proper fun.Yep - that's M.I.A.'s preggars belly. I guess most people already knew this but to me it was a surprise.
