"This Ticket Saved Your Life, Son."

So, it seems that most things you do normally is illegal. I was pulled over (just the cop lights - no sirens) on my bike by new york's finest.

Why you ask? Because i 'ran a red light'. I also didnt have a helmet (i told them i forgot it at home), my front and rear reflectors were 'missing' and i was also rocking headphones while operating a bicycle.
I leaned against my bike for bout 20mins as they ran my ID. Of course, they had a good time repeating my last name.

One of them (the obvious Bad Cop of the couple) burped like a frat boy in between his repremanding. Real nice. Reckless Operation of Bicycle. reeeeeaally?

ok.

Im going to follow this summons' instructions and be sure not to miss my Jan 14, 2009 court date.

yay,

THE NEW YORK ART BOOK FAIR

If it wasnt for my buddy Emily Lessard i wouldnt have known about this fair at all - and then i would've missed it, and then i would be mad at the world up until next year's event.

whew.

so, Steph and i put this good news to use and headed over to Chelsea for the day-maker.
The day got better; Michel Gondry was there.

Bahareh and i planned on going to see him at Strand Bookstore on monday. He'll be Q&A'ing as well as signing his new book You'll Like This Movie Because You're In It: The Be Kind Rewind Protocol. (the cover sucks, wish he designed it himself)

more info about it H E R E.
So tomorrow's the LAST day. Please dont ruin it for yourself.

M A D

Wednesday was a fun and inspiring day. Guillo (fresh from his week in Amsterdam), Jessica and i checked out the Museum of Arts and Design.

Here are some photos i was asked by the lovely employees not to take:
Towards the end of our tour Guillo and i were so hungry we didnt even notice that the museum's 9th floor restaurant....was yet to open for business.

ooops.
I leave you with "Mary Had A Little Lamb" by _________ (sorry)
