Vroooooooom!

....so i've been in search of a new bike forever and FINALLY something caught my eye [ and wallet ] via craigslist a week ago. boston > craigslist.

ha - i emailed the post and he called me back the next morning.

'cool - so what neighborhood are you in?', he asked.

'new york city.'

'damn, dude.'

'yeah - gimme 5-6hrs to get there.'

'cool.'

this was on a friday so i jumped on a chinatown bus [ bought a disposable camera first ] and headed to boston:

I got there just under 5hrs.

And once i got there a mister Josh Deane picked me up and pulled my baby out of his jeep:

> Y E S <

After about 20mins of throwing bike jargon back and forth [ he was far more articulate ] i handed over some currency and headed back to the bus station.

I got back to manhattan around 4am. My first ride through the city and onto the manhattan bridge was soooooooooo clean.

I named it Plan Bee.

First three

I finally got to get on a flight and head back home. I am beyond excited about this-time-around and I believe the universe is backing me up on that feeling. Before even leaving my seat, I watched my luggage being the first to leave the aircraft and when I stepped out to pick up my car at the rental place, a small sign on the pavement made my heart flip.

Hardly home for 2 hours, hubbie and I headed out to play with our friends and before we knew it hours passed, more and more friends gathered and it was a perfect little welcome back party that carried from one party to a bar to a rooftop. All along smiling.





Waking up the next morning was not even a challenge. We got in the rental and headed to Montauk for an off season scroll on the beach. Pure serenity.

The following morning, Monday caught up with us and we drove into the city to drop Jelsen off at work. Hours later I joined more buddies at a wine tasting event on Fulton. 


Brooklyn and my Brooklynites... How I've missed you. We have a lot of catching up to do, but I'm on it! Just gimme a moment to prove it now, will ya!

Candice For Now

Candice snuck away from stockholm for a couple of days and one of those were spent in nyc. A couple of us linked up with her for brewskies and candid rants on scandinavian culture differences.
It was def nice seeing her after such a long minute. Ah well - back to sweden you go.

Skype Day, Hooray!

Yesterday i got to video-kick it with two of my favorite folks. Plus i added more lovely people to the batch.

You guys already know Ekene's [ far right ] been hustling worldwide for a while now. Currently he's settled at an artist residency in amsterdam. yay. He introduced me to Afarai & Dimmy = ArtsMarket Amsterdam . Check out the event's site for sure.

Next up:
....our favorite Steph Land. She's been in Brazil since last saturday and we finally had a moment to wave 'hello'. This image is of her looking at herself as if she's crazy.

hmmm...

Predictably, she said she's on a constant visual stimulation wave down there [ snapped over 1000 pics before mid week ]. She hit up Rio and now's back in Sao Paulo.
